New Zealand's climate is surprisingly conducive to tropical gardens. Many lush-looking natives and subtropical plants are hardy enough to endure our winters, making it possible to create stunning retreats that will evoke memories of an island vacation. As an avid enthusiast of Balinese gardens, I drew inspiration from this style to design one of my personal favourites.
